Welcome to Music Online 101, the most extensive online musical classroom on the web. Here you will have access to written lessons, audio lessons, and video lessons, as well as an extensive collection of sheet music.
Music Online 101 is geared toward the beginner musician. The lessons we provide will start with the most basic instruction, such as which instrument suits you best, how to hold it properly, how to tune it, and how to begin reading sheet music. From there, lessons get gradually more involved but always progress at a comfortable pace. And no matter how long you use this site, there will always be new material to learn, as we update with new lessons and new sheet music every week.
Beyond the lessons and music that are offered here on the site, there is also an option to sign up for face-to-face private lessons. Time slots are limited and are assigned on a "first come, first served" basis. To inquire about current availability of private lessons, please use our contact form.
